Barefoot Festival and Barefoot Gathering

Breaking news: We are taking a little break, we hope to be back in 2024!

It is with deep regret we announce that we have decided not to go ahead with Barefoot Festival 2023.

We are so very sorry but with the current financial climate and the increases in costs across the board we really don't feel it is possible for us to go ahead next year.

Sadly we actually made a loss this summer as ticket sales were down, plus other factors related to the venue and licensing etc. has also influenced our decision. We feel it's too much of a risk to continue plans for next summer.

We are keen to make Barefoot an official a not-for-profit organisation or community interest company so that we can be eligible for funding or art grants. This is what we are going to focus our energy on over the coming months so we are able to produce more Barefoot Festivals in the future and support our commitment to improving the mental health and well being of our community.

It is by no means the end of Barefoot Festival and we will be running some smaller manageable events throughout the year ahead and will keep you informed of these through our socials and website.

Thank you to everyone for continuing to support us an our other events, we hope that you understand this decision it has been an incredibly hard one to make.

Peace and love
Team Barefoot
