Getting to Barefoot Festival

Please Note: Upon your arrival please do not use the Prestwold Hall main entrance, instead follow your satnav to and signs for the Everyman Racing entrance - LE12 5SH.

By car...

We'd prefer you to travel by public transport, but if you do bring a vehicle, please remember to buy a parking pass, and if possible minimise fossil fuel use (and your costs) by filling your vehicle with other festival folk. Prestwold Hall is incredible easy to find and is well signposted. Leave junction 23 of the M1 and follow the A512 into Loughborough. When driving through the town follow signs for the A60 and then signs for Prestwold Hall itself. Prestwold is located on the B675, also called Prestwold Lane, around half a mile outside the village of Hoton on the left hand side as you drive towards Barrow Upon Soar.

By public transport...

The nearest town is Loughborough, with rail connections from the north and south at Loughborough train station. You can then get a bus that leaves regularly for the station into Loughborough town centre where you can catch a connecting bus to the village of Prestwold. For more details please see local bus services. Alternatively you can get a taxi direct from Loughborough train station to Prestwold Hall. Loughborough train station is approximately 10 minutes away by car. East Midlands airport is 20 minutes away by car.


If camping on site is not a possibility to you, or you just prefer to treat yourself for the weekend, there are variety of hotels and bed and breakfasts in the local area to suit all budgets.
